Course Registration

Starting January 28th of 2025, IMPACTO will offer two variations of English courses, free of charge, to anyone from the Hispanic community who also resides in Alachua County or the Gainesville Area. Courses will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in classrooms on the UF campus. A communicative method will be used that will prioritize speaking the language. Each classroom will have two teachers who are Spanish-speaking and bilingual UF students who will be trained by a professional foreign language teacher. Once a spot has been secured for you in one of our classes, a confirmation email will be sent shortly after to confirm this information .

If you wish to register for one of our two classes, please click on the button down below to begin the process.

Note: We will also be having an orientation one week before classes begin in order for students to get acquainted with the attendance requirements, information on where to park and where classes are located, how the classes will be taught, and receive introductions from the instructors for each course level. It's recommended that students attend this orientation as the first week can be stressful on finding place to park in order to arrive on time for class.
