Membership Information
Instructor Registration
If you are a UF student interested in volunteering for an instructor position, you must navigate to our Google Classroom and view the following training sessions via Zoom from Mr. Andres Garcia. You must watch both workshops to the end in order to be considered for an instructor position and remain a member of the club. Class times will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15 pm to 7:05 pm in a classroom on UF campus. After viewing the trainings, please contact our President or Course Coordinator via email (located in our Meet the Officers page) to request an interview slot that fits your schedule. These 10 minute interviews are not meant to reject individuals, but are to ensure you are well prepared to teach the content in its proper format. Preparation for the interview is located in our Google Classroom under the Classwork Tab under "English Instructor Interview".
After completing the trainings, you must also stay up to date in our GroupMe for further updates on our future events and meetings.

Membership Retainment and Point System
Besides teaching at least 2-3 times per month, members are also required to attend all General Body Meetings, socials, and assist with Tabling sessions each month. Tabling opportunities will be announced in our GroupMe, which will occur bimonthly. Please also refer to our Instagram for our event announcements as well. Additionally, members will be required to attend professional development workshops, which are done for the benefit of their members. It's imperative to be active in our chat (or at least communicate with our team) in order to sign up/attend these opportunities before the semester ends, if you wish to maintain your membership.

However, we understand you are students, so filling out an absence form ahead of time for our events excuses you all if there are conflicting events that prevent you from attending events or tabling sessions.
All information and forms can also be found in the Google Classroom.

NOTE
Please make sure to commit to your responsibilities over the next semester, as this is ongoing community service. It will be difficult to make changes if you cannot meet the time requirements. As an instructor, you are responsible for making sure you teach to the best of your ability. If you have any questions, please go to Meet the Officers to contact our Recruitment Officer for more information about our expectations.
